Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN HANOI : XIN CHAO ! (-/-/-)

Please fasten your seat belts, raise the back of your seat, we start our descent to Hanoi airport. Welcome to the Land of the Dragon of Asia! The capital of unified Vietnam, Hanoi is a true museum of colonial architecture on the banks of the Red River. Indeed, the city has managed to preserve the old-fashioned charm of the French colonial era; the modernization of the city undertaken by the French from 1882 onwards lasted until 1955 and the face of Hanoi today has not changed much.

When you exit the plane, you will be greeted by an aiport personnel waiting for you with a personalized sign At the exit of the airport, go to your vehicle for a transfer to the hotel. Room available from 2:00 pm.

On the way to the hotel, in the heart of the Red River delta, the famous "city between the rivers" has an extraordinary and contrasting urban landscape, between lakes and intense traffic, between modern buildings and traditional houses. Rest of afternoon and evening at leisure. Meals at leisure.

Day 2 : HANOI (Breakfast/-/-)

Ready for your first discovery of Hanoi? The first President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam is a fundamental and omnipresent personality for the inhabitants. After lunch you will start with the visit of the exterior of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence provide a better understanding of his history. The city of Hanoi has other must-see sites such as the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius and the Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake.


To discover the capital at your own pace, what could be better than strolling through the lively streets of the Old Quarter? This ancient urban center, called the 36 Corporations District, is the heart of the capital. Here, the stores, restaurants and bars promise a continuous effervescence. The ideal place to immerse yourself in the atmosphere and taste Hanoi's unmissable street food food at leisure!

Day 3: HANOI – MAI CHAU (Breakfast/-/-)

●    8:30 am : Departure for Mai Chau (150 Km / 3h30)
●    11:30 am: Photo stop at Thung Khe pass
●    12:00 pm : Arrival at Mai Chai and lunch at leisure
●    1:00 pm : Bike ride (3h – easy level)
●    4:00 pm : Check-in to your hotel. 

Today you will depart for Mai Chau, in the Hoa Binh region, rich in minorities and tribes with the famous villages of Muong and Dao ethnic cultures, lies the small commune of Mai Chau. The road from Hanoi amazes all those who take it. A stop at the Thung Khe pass allows to admire the panoramic view of this hilly region, between rice fields and wild nature. In Mai Chau, the houses built in wood, bamboo and on stilts have kept their picturesque aspect in the middle of a peaceful environment. Lunch will be at leisure.
The surrounding villages, still not very touristy, can be visited peacefully by bicycle, close to nature. Late afternoon check-in to your hotel. Evening and meals at leisure.

Day 4 : MAI CHAU – HOA LU (Breakfast/-/-)

● 8:30 am: Departure for Hoa Lu (140 Km / 3h30)
● 12:00 pm: Arrival at Hoa Lu and lunch at leisure
● 1:00 pm: Boat ride (1h30)
● 2:30 pm: Bike ride (1h)
● 3:30 pm: Visit of the Bich Dong pagoda
● 4:30 pm: Check into your hotel

Departure from Mai Chai to Hoa Lu, a small valley surrounded by limestone massifs, rice fields and small canals, nicknamed the "Land Halong", this magnificent site was the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century during the reign of the Dinh and Le dynasty. Many dynasties built pagodas, temples and palaces which make, today, the reputation of Hoa Lu. 


Arrival in Hoa Lu, lunch will be at leisure.  After lunch you will have an unforgettable stroll aboard small traditional sampans allows to appreciate in an intimate way the atypical decoration of the province of Ninh Binh. Along the water, the very preserved surrounding nature and the three caves, Hang Chua, Hang Ghe and Hang but, accentuate the charm and grandeur of the site.

To continue your day you will have a nice cycling tour on dry land and then visit the Bich Dong pagoda, known as "de Jade", appears mysteriously among the bodies of water and vegetation. Built as early as 1428, this pagoda, a place of pilgrimage and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is embedded in a mountain and consists of three buildings, Ha (Lower), Trung (Middle) and Thuong (Upper). Transfer to your hotel. Rest of evening and meals at leisure.

Day 5 : HOA LU – HA LONG (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

● 10:30 am: Arrival at the pier

● 7:00 pm: Dinner on board

Classified 8th wonder of nature and World Heritage by UNESCO since 1994, Ha Long Bay is a must see site in Vietnam. This magical place, through the famous karstic sugar loaves and thousands of islands and islets, fascinates by its emerald green water. In this paradisiacal scenery of the Gulf of Tonkin, a cruise aboard a junk promises an exceptional stay. Once on board, a seafood tasting is served while the junk enters the waters of this marine and natural treasure.

In the afternoon, you will visit several sites and participate in activities depending on the junk booked. You come back on board the junk before sunset. When the sun goes down, a night squid fishing is organized for an ever more memorable experience. Dinner will be on board. Overnight stay on the junk
 

Day 6 : HA LONG – HANOI - DEPARTURE (Breakfast/Brunch/-)

After a gentle awakening in this idyllic setting, a Tai Chi session is offered on the upper deck at sunrise. Breakfast will then be served on board while the junk slowly makes its way back. The charm of Hạ Long's unique scenery will continue during a stopover in a natural cave. The cruise will arrive towards the end of the journey shortely after enjoying a brunch on board.

Back in Hanoi, a special tour by trishaw is waiting for you through the lively streets of the Old Quarter allows you to discover the capital at your own pace.
