Good Morning, today you will take journey from Chiang-mai, towards the province of Pai on the tortuous road (2 hours drive), the crossroads of the region's minorities, a charming village nestled in an exceptional mountainous natural setting. On the way you will stop at the beautiful waterfall of Mok Fah and its 60 meters of difference in altitude. Most of the time, the water level is sufficient for swimming, or at least for a refreshing shower at the foot of the falls. The water is crystal clear here and very refreshing! Lunch at leisure.
In the afternoon, you will stop by at the hot springs of Pong Duad, located in the Huay Nam Dang National Park. This powerful phenomenon gushes out of the earth at a temperature of 99 degrees. Thai people believe in the therapeutic virtues of this water for the skin. You will arrive in Pai at the end of the afternoon and check-into your hotel. In the evening, the night market of Pai is a must to eat and buy handicrafts from the ethnic groups of the region.
Day 2: PAI – BAAN JA BO - PAI (Breakfast/Lunch/-)

Your first sleep in Pai? It was amazing wasn’t it! It is time to continue your discoveries. Today you will drive towards the south of Pai, to the valley of Mae La Na, undoubtedly one of the most spectacular valleys of the province of Mae Hong Song, on the borders of the kingdom. Here you will encounter and experience the meeting of two communities: the Lahu, in Baan Ja Bo, and the Shan, in Baan Mae La Na. The two villages are within a 30-minute walk of each other.
The villagers will invite you to their homes, to meet their community and discover their culture. The Lahu are colorful and welcoming. The village is known for its traditional medicine and food made with natural ingredients. A village guide accompanies visitors through the community's important cultural sites. Craftsmen and women explain the meaning of the different colors of their clothing. The Lahu people consider the “Coffin” cave a sacred place.
The guide explains the local beliefs and how to behave in the cave. The Lahu people have developed a special system of rice cultivation in rotation and live in harmony with the forest. Lunch served by the villagers of Baan Ja Bo. A 30-minute walk (or drive) through a splendid valley of majestic limestone mountains leads to the village of Baan Mae La Na. The villager’s welcomes and guides you to the "Coral Cave". The fertile and majestic forest is home to all kinds of medicinal plants used by the locals. Late afternoon you will return to your hotel and rest of evening at leisure.
Day 3: PAI – CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/-/-)

Optional: Departure from the hotel very early in the morning (4:30 am) to admire the magnificent sunrise at the top of the famous Pai canyon. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
